There is no parking lot at the door. Airship's counter at Coler sits in the woods of the Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, and the only ways in are the preserve's own trails — every lot is just under a mile of greenway from the counter. National Geographic put it on an October 2025 list of the world's most remote coffee shops. It isn't remote so much as engineered: Bentonville took the car out of the picture, and a mile of maintained path does the work a street would. The bar itself is open-air and drink-led, and the menu goes no further than baked goods and smoothies. It's posted open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, a long day for a room you can only walk or ride to. Come for the cup at the far end of a warm-up mile. Skip it the day you need a drive-through.
A Bentonville roaster with four cafes and no template: an open-air bar in the woods at Coler you reach only on foot or by bike, a restored 1954 waterworks building in the city's oldest residential neighborhood, a Walmart-campus porch with more seats outside than in, and the original 5th Street room, still the working roastery. Each one is built to the ground it sits on and put where people are already going.
