Community Creative Center

Arkansas keeps its only community printmaking studio here, on a 6,900-square-foot floor off Fayetteville's arts district that also holds a working clay studio, a glaze room, and a kiln yard out back. Classes and camps run for every age and skill level in clay, painting, drawing, glass fusion, and mixed media, and the member-artists who keep their own Open Studio hours often teach them. It became its own nonprofit in 2008, after the Walton Arts Center let its visual-arts program go, and settled into the Nadine Baum Studios building. Bring a beginner or a lapsed potter; the region's grassroots makers learn the craft here shoulder to shoulder.
