Fayetteville's first production brewery took its name from a fossil-laden cove on Beaver Lake, the same water it brews with, and has poured American and Belgian-style ales on North Birch since 2012. The tasting room opens seven days with food trucks rotating through; the room fills for Frost Fest, its annual gathering of around sixty breweries, and a dollar from every Rat pale ale goes to a nonprofit that changes each quarter.
