The Farmer's Table Cafe

By the cafe's own telling, the old South Fayetteville farmhouse had a punk phase — abandoned years when the basement hosted trap concerts — before anyone was serving brunch in it. What Rob and Adrienne Shaunfield have run there since 2014 is steadier: a farm-to-table cafe that works like a standing local-food pipeline, buying year-round from NWA farmers and producers, Bansley's Berkshire and Ozark Natural Breads among them. P. Allen Smith's 2017 account put that at near 140 of them and more than $900,000 back into Arkansas farms. The kitchen turns that sourcing into comfort food, backed by an onsite garden and a full bar, with strong vegan and gluten-free options. And the small no-charge menu for unhoused neighbors still stands — a thread begun by Adrienne, who helped start Feed Fayetteville and died in 2021. It runs as a breakfast-and-lunch cafe, with a separate dinner service Friday and Saturday nights.
